At any fashion week the most coveted position is a seat in the front row - people will literally climb over one another to get there, legs and arms flailing as they attempt to take the seat that someone else has failed to. The reality is, however, that unless you're in the very first seat of the front row you have a view that is subpar in comparison to what are really the best seats in the house: those of the photographers'. And while we used such a position to capture the Flannel spring 2011 showing at Australian fashion week, we also took in the view from the stadium seating that ran the length of the catwalk.
