Star of "Clueless" Brittany Murphy Tragically Died Today

Ashton Kutcher sent a message on Twitter Sunday morning about Brittany Murphy's death: "2day the world lost a little piece of sunshine," Kutcher wrote. "My deepest condolences go out 2 Brittany's family, her husband, & her amazing mother Sharon." That about sums up how we feel here at Celebrity Wire. Brittany Murphy was a beautiful and talented actress that was very loved in the entertainment community in Los Angeles and just about everywhere she went. She rose to fame in "8 mile" She worked with stars like Michael Douglas, Ashton Kutcher, Angelina Jolie, Eminem and many other major talents. She also appeared in TV roles and in two films in 1999 -- "Drop Dead Gorgeous" and "Girl, Interrupted," for which Jolie received an Oscar. She also appeared in "Sin City", "Uptown Girls", "Don't Say A Word" , and "Just Married". She was married to British Screenwriter Simon Monjack. The Los Angeles County Coroner has said there were no suspicious circumstances regarding her passing but that they would conduct and autopsy over the coming days. It is a sad and tragic day for the Hollywood community to lose such a young and vibrant talent and we mourn her passing.
